Fall Season

After digging through what this season has to offer, I didn’t find anything too horribly enticing just yet, but there’s still things yet to premiere unless my mind has wandered off, so I’m not giving up hope yet. For now, there is one series that I find interesting at least, Clannad.
Now, when I say interesting, that doesn’t mean “ZOMG, GO OUT AND WATCH THIS SERIEZ NAO!” so I’ll just give you my criteria and let you be the judge.
Cute Character Designs
I’ll admit, I’m a sucker for cute character designs, so that weighed in to a lot of this since this is my first taste of this series. Keep in mind I’m going into this without knowing anything of it before and just picked it up on a whim, so bear with me on that note.
Also… there are twins (or at least very similar looking sisters)… moving on…
Potential Plot Points
Taking a look at the cryptic scene about a third of the way in, and the line that the first episode ends on “If you wish, would you like me to take you? To a place in this cities where dreams come true?” [Translation Credit: SS & Eclipse] I see a lot of potential with this series to develop into a much deeper plot than what sits on the surface. Also, all the characters seem like they have a story they could tell (well, except the bumbling blond idiot that kind of messes with the mood of the show to me) so we’ll see.
Final Thoughts
This series is a maybe, depending on where it goes from here, whether you watch it is up to you. I’ll probably continue to watch it myself, but will I blog it? If I feel inclined as the story progresses.
