My “Not So Triumphant” Return
By Ace | July 8, 2007
The past 6 months have been pure insanity for me, that’s the only excuse I have. I realized a few weeks ago that a lot of things were missing, and now that I’m slowly getting those things back, my love for anime has returned.
Yeah, that’s right, I almost abandoned my anime, but not because I considered it childish or immature or anything of that nature, it was simply because of a little problem of mine called clinical depression. However, with a few simple changes, my life is falling together, and I can finally enjoy anime once again. I know no one really cares, but I just figured that if anyone had been reading this and watching for new posts, they deserved a bit of an explanation.
Starting tomorrow, I have a lot of backlog to cover, and a lot of things to catch up on, several series that I’ve taken akin to in the past few days, and a lot of old favorites that I picked up in order to finish. One of which is, a review of the R1 release of “The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.” As opposed to some, I actually like the English dub and the production quality, but more on that when I actually make a post about it.
Now you see, why I said “not so triumphant,” because I really have nothing much to say other than the same promises I’ve made before, but this time, only time will tell the tale.
